Juicing veggies or making green smoothies allows you to consume more nutrients and complete enzymes in one sitting than you would in a few meals.
Green Juice– A green juice differs from a green smoothie because the fiber is taken out through juicing with a juicer this removes most of the plant cellulose and makes the juice very easy to digest.
RECIPE- Apple Lemon Green Juice
5 Organic Ribs Celery 1 Large Organic English Cucumber 1/2 Organic Lemon 5 Organic Swiss Chard Leaves or Kale 2 Organic Green Apples (optional)
Whether juicing or making a smoothie, try to stick to a 3 to 1 ratio of veggies to fruit. It’s a good rule of thumb if you want to keep your drinks alka- line (AKA health-boosting). Please also use ORGANIC VEGGIES & FRUIT, when possible. See www.EWG.org
